Gina Kim

item1(Writer, Actress, and Producer) is honored to produce MISS KIM again and have the opportunity to work with a talented cast and crew. She has recently produced 2 short films and currently in process of creating her first musical. Gina has had the privilege of indulging in random performances throughout her life including, back-up vocals for K-POP stars in Korea, various pageant competitions, singing competitions, Regional Theatre (Flower Drum Song as Mei Li), Local Theatre (Chorus Line as Connie), Tampa Bay Toyota Commercial, and the 2011 NYC Koreatown Vagina Monologues and much more. She has been in Finance for 13 years and has degrees from New York University and Hunter College with a BA in Psychology and Economics. Her greatest strength is in collaboration and empowering other artists to discover their best work. Deepest and the most heartfelt thanks to her supporters, mentors and coaches for making it all possible to go for everything and have it all!

Ryan Tofil

item3(Writer, Actor) teaches acting at the Mathew Corozine Studio (MCS) in Times Square and has also taught and directed preteens at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA). He also teaches Special Education in the NYC public school system. Ryan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from the New School University, with an additional focus on creative writing. He co-wrote and performed in the critically acclaimed MISS KIM, THE PLAY, which was originally produced through MCS and FringeNYC in 2010. He is currently writing and work-shopping a new play shining a homosexual light on the biblical laws of Leviticus titled, LEVITICUS IN LOVE. As an actor, Ryan has performed in numerous regional theatre, tours, and off-off Broadway productions. Favorite acting credits include Andrew in Nicky Silver's THE MAIDEN'S PRAYER, Perchik in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Austin in John Patrick Shanley's THE BIG FUNK. In 2010 Ryan created and performed in SONGS NINA SANG, a tribute to Nina Simone, and BEFORE THE RAINBOW, dedicated to the early songs Judy Garland, both at the San Antonio Country Club, and soon to be produced in NYC.

Justin Gentry

item3(Actor) is thrilled to be back with Miss Kim after the original run in 2010's FringeNYC. Recently, he was seen performing with Sheri Sanders on the DVD accompanying her new book, Rock the Audition, out now from Hal Leonard. Regional credits include Anything Goes (Billy), Little Shop of Horrors (Dentist), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), HAiR (Berger), Forever Plaid (Frankie). Justin holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University in Ohio where he was also born and raised. Thank you to Gina Kim, Ryan Tofil, and Matthew Corozine for this amazing opportunity and for continuing to breed creativity in all of us. I love you each and all!

Kathy Deitch

item4(Actress) Broadway:Original Company WICKED; LA debut at the Hollywood Bowl in RENT directed by Neil Patrick Harris. Film & TV: LOFT opposite Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet. LAW & ORDER for NBC, ABC's CUPID and worked with Drew Barrymore in GOING THE DISTANCE. She started a Heart tribute band, appropriately called ALL HEART (she's Ann). Kathy could not be prouder of her friend Miss Kim and is honored to be a part of this production.

Matthew McCurdy

item4(Actor) is happy to be back on stage as part of 'Miss Kim'. This native son of West Virginia studied Theatre at WVU and continues his artistic education here in his home of New York City. His most recent film projects include Danny Miller's 'Frozen Tracks' and the web series 'Splinter Cell: Extinction' produced by the extremely talented crew at Companion Pictures. He is excited to again be working with the creative and dedicated cast and crew of 'Miss Kim' and believes strongly in the message of importance it places on the awareness of sexual abuse. item4(DIRECTOR) Fortunate to direct MISS KIM for the second time and work with actors he has trained. Matthew Corozine has been training actors "to get outta their head" since 2000. Matthew created the MATTHEW COROZINE STUDIO THEATRE (MCS) in NYC, an acting studio rooted in The Meisner Technique and is proud to "house" working actors, budding talent, a teaching staff of 4 (MCS musical theatre class coming soon) and a support staff of 3 and growing! In NYC, Matthew Corozine and his acting studio have produced and directed over 15 productions. In 2009, Matthew Corozine directed the FRINGEnyc critically acclaimed hit, THE BOYS UPSTAIRS, (Soho Playhouse) that was extended as part of the FRINGEnyc Encore Series. For the 2010 FRINGEnyc Matthew directed MISS KIM written by MCS' Ryan Tofil (Acting Teacher) and Gina Kim (inspired by the personal monologue exercises at MCS). Matthew also has guest coached on Reality TV. MCS students have appeared in film/tv in LA and NYC on Broadway in WICKED; LEGALLY BLONDE, GYPSY, THE ADAAMS FAMILY; ROCK OF AGES; BOOK OF MORMON; ANYTHING GOES; WONDERLAND, RENT among others. item4Gil began his career as a professional photographer in 1995. Gil attended and graduated from the ‘Academy of Art University’ in San Francisco in 2003. After this, he worked for the daily newspaper as a staff photographer in Los Angeles before moving to the New York. His photojournalism work has been published in several newspaper and magazine article. Gil has several solo exhibition and group exhibition with fine art Portrait and photojournalistic art. With over 18 years of experience within this industry, Gil has successfully merged his photojournalism background with both fine art portrait and human being contemporary art that have resulted in some of the finest art work to date.
